GE side by side fridge quit working - FIXED

Was sitting watching TV and then started hearing a clicking coming from the kitchen. Heard it coming from the fridge, saw the water/ice dispenser wasn’t working. Opened fridge and freezer and both lights come on but could tell something was not right like air wasn’t being circulated.
After further investigation the clicking is definitely coming from the control board on the back. Temps have risen a lot since then, luckily have a fridge/freezer in the garage to transfer everything to. Think it’s a bad board? Google hasn’t been helpful

Ok. Bad control board or bad Intverter board. Hard to know which. Would assume control board.

Unplug and plug back in. See if everything else works. Hopefully it's just a bad ice maker.

Yeah that was the first thing I tried. Everything kicked on for about 10 seconds then shut off and the clicking started again. Found a control board on Amazon and should get it Wednesday evening so we’ll see what happens

turned out the evaporator coil fan motor quit. Only a $25 part but you have to pretty much dismantle the entire freezer to get to it. Not too bad only about 12 screws total and who knew the ice maker was secured with only one screw on the side lol
