Anyone else experiencing frozen evaporator coils in their garage fridge? In the past, i would just unplug it for a few hours, but after doing that today and it not kicking back on, I think i need to unplug it longer with the colder temps outside.

What's the temp in the garage?
Mine was 36 this morning.

It is probably not freezing in your garage. It was 15 degrees in my backyard last night and it never got below 35 in the garage.

A fridge has a heater to defrost ecap coils if one of the 3 parts of the heat system fails you get ice on your coils. Outside temp shouldn't matter that much for the evap coils.
