Fence - Treating and Sealing

I'm looking to treat and seal my fence in the near future. Is there any product you would recommend using?

Cabot has worked really well on my cedar and looks great.

If you don't live in a subdivision do what farmers do: Mix diesel and used motor oil.

I used Ready Seal natural cedar color on the fence and dark walnut on the pergola. Here's a before and after, the color hasn't faded in 5 years so far.

Duke has your answer. I used a very light cedar stain on mine and it has lasted well over 10 years. While I did this I was also diligent in being certain no ground dirt touched my boards. Places that had hit the ground before I did this had began to decay. The decaying process stopped after the stain and those places look the same as when I stained. Again, I don't like the look of a heavy cedar stain, so I did it very light.
