Can I remove the inside glass and still use the dryer? Not sure what purpose the inside glass serves. There’s still and exterior glass that keeps things enclosed.

I think the interior glass is cone shaped on mine. I think that serves to keep clothes tumbling and prevents getting stuck around the door. Honestly, that is probably gonna be expensive and I would try without.

How the hell did you break that?

Ended up just buying a new dryer today. I shared your opinion. The Mrs. was convinced it was there for a reason more important than just keeping the clothes from not getting stuck. She's got some weird fear about dryers catching on fire...so, just ended up buying a new one today.

I went to transfer clothes a few days ago, and noticed the glass was shattered. Still in tact, but shattered. I dried clothes in there any way 3 more times. Today, I opened it, and glass just fell.

Honestly, I didn't think it was actual glass. No idea what could have caused it. The dryer on order does not have glass.

That’s probably best…she would have never trusted it again
