Diesel inverter generator?

Anyone know of one? I've been looking at the kubota lowboy series but would love to have a variable inverter gen set over the low/high idle setup.

What if you took a Yanmar diesel or one of those chinese ones off Amazon and swapped it into an inverter set by swapping the gas one out of it?

I’ve researched this at length and the consensus is that smaller/inverter style diesel generators aren’t cost effective. Diesels are known for superior strength and the cost associated to produce them is more expensive.
