Cub Cadet Zero Turn issues

I'm having issues with my Cub Cadet Z force zero turn.
It will run half throttle but die whenever you idle it up.
I'm assuming some sort of fuel issues.. I have changes spark plugs, replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the carb, drained the gas and used new gas. Mower still having the same issue. It is old, 700 hours, but has been completely fine up until this point.
Just looking to see if anyone has had this same issue and may can suggest a solution.

Could be an airflow issue under load. Or maybe a fuel pump issue.
When you cleaned the carb, did you clean the jet too?
Grab a small clean gas tank
Hook it directly to the carb inlet with a new hose, bypassing fuel pump and filter.
See if it runs at full throttle — if it does, you've confirmed a fuel delivery problem upstream of the carb.

TDsngumbo has the right idea. And, even though cleaned, there may still be a small clog somewhere in the carb.

Add seafoam. 1 ounce per gallon of gas. Run it. Seafoam will clean carb and jets. Use non ethanol gas.

If you pull the choke up a hair does it then run better?
My old CC does that I just never bothered to actually fix it.
It would point you in the right direction.
