Looking to get a slab for a half court basketball court and all the lines on it. Anybody have experience with doing this?

I did slab last summer for about $8500. You can get kits to paint lines for $100 - $200.

I just want something that won’t crack long term. Was considering asphalt but seems expensive.

Concrete will crack. You could get crazy for this scenario and do something like post tension or a ton of rebar, but it’s just not necessary. Small cracks won’t affect the play, and if not driven on or anything like that, you shouldn’t have any issues with it unless the sub grade is prepared poorly.
I’m assuming this will be outdoors. They make those plastic mat type things you put down, but they don’t function well as a court in my opinion.
Going rate for turnkey concrete is about ~$5/sqft. Or $2/sqft for digging/rebar/finishing + cost of concrete.

Thanks for the info. Yes it would be in my backyard and I looked into the tile things but in my experience the ball does not bounce well on that surface.
