Don’t listen to this guy. Always take the fan off and shell and clean from the inside out. Cleaning it without disassembly doesn’t do shite. You cant even access/see most of the fins/dirt without doing that. That’s half arse

Simple Green works well and is plenty safe. Spray it on, let it soak, hose it off.
