If I just stuck with Dewalt, not sure if I’d go with the 60v cordless trimmer or if the 20v trimmer would be enough for my ~1 acre yard
Either way, I assume I’d need to get the bundle with battery as the 2 20v batteries I have with the drill set are only 1.3 Ah
I'd go with the 60v trimmer and pair it with Dewalt's Flexvolt battery, it flip flops from 60v to 20v depending on what tool you're using. Dewalt says the Flexvolt battery is compatable with over 250 different tools. To my knowledge no one else offers that option where their tools AND lawn equipment can use the same battery packs.
That's the reason I went with Dewalt, if/when my gas lawn equipment fail I can replace it and power it using batteries I already own for my tools.
I currently have their drill, hammer drill, 1/2" impact, and the little shop fan which comes in super handy. In the next month or so I plan to add their circular saw, recip saw, and angle grinder.

This all started because I need a battery operated weedeater and ryobi seems to be the crowd favorite. The remaining ryobi tools seem to have solid reviews and like I said, none of them will get everyday use.
And Dewalt has weed eaters, chainsaws, blowers, etc.
