The storebought gel. Raid. Comes in a little tube with an applicator tip to get it into the outlet without having to stick your finger in there.

Another vote for Terro liquid ant traps. Placed about 6 traps in my kitchen back in early June and after 5-7 days, no more. Haven’t seen any since.

Do you have trees? Argentine ants are very small black ants that get in your house through the tiniest of gaps. Spraying your yard does little good. They live in your trees. You can see them there if you inspect your trees and spray.
