I want to install a 4’ aluminum fence with 2 gates, a little over 12’, it’s a custom install on an existing patio slab. Guy quoted me 1200. Thought it was a little crazy, but unfortunately I don’t know what the basic pricing for something like this.

Appreciate the advice..

I bought two 8' sections of fence with the tighter puppy spacing and a 4' arched gate. (All 5') with a few posts and wall mount brackets. That was just shy of $1k for materials alone shipped.

Doesn’t sound expensive to me. I recently got a quote for a simple aluminum awning to go over an entry door, and it was $1600.

So what made you choose commercial over residential? We’re you able to actually check them out in person somewhere? Residential not sturdy enough? Iv been pricing it as well. It’s not cheap.

In my case, I only needed 12' or so and one gate. It wasn't much more to go with the heavier gauge of the commercial so I opted for that.
