reference in Animal House to "Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" which is obviously false

it started as Pearl Harbor (old....long time ago) then went to Germans Bomb Pealr Harbor (to reference the movie) and then just Germans

it in he makes a motivational speech, "was it over when the germans bombed pearl harbor"?? Really its the Japs but anyway...when someone says something old, the reply is yeah and the japs just bombed pearl harbor or titanic sinks. Just adapted to Germans because of Animal House.

Have seen the movie. Just dont have the fricking script memorized to a 30 year old movie.
