An article from 2010 that talks about the changes in warfare in the continent from soldier vs. soldier to soldier vs. civilian. Things our news media hasn't been interested in.

There's also a link to a blog coming this February from someone living in South Africa, who will continue to discuss that continent's governments, etc. It may be an interesting look at China's activities in Africa and be a point of comparison with the Al Jazeera coverage.
I found this post interested - don't see any violations of the "anchor" rules set forth in the help section.
just curious - seemed like a good read to me.
