Why do all my threads get anchored?

Legitimate question. I am looking at some of my threads that have been anchored and I'm not sure how all of them can be perceived as flaming, spamming, etc.
I mean jeez, my Mavs @ Celtics game thread? My Mavs @ Wizards game thread? Cmon... but when someone else starts a Mavs/Celtics thread it doesn't get anchored?
