What about combo boards?

Create a view where the hottest threads from all boards show up in one combo board?
Surely this isn't The first time somebody has suggested this.

It already exists. You have to active beta mode. This can be done by clicking go to beta in the top left of the screen on desktop
Mobile is more complicated. Go to the bottom of the page and click go to desktop. Then follow the steps above. You will need to click on "Trending"
-scroll down. There are now three options. What they do I don't know figure it out for yourself
Then I would recommend switching back to mobile at the bottom of the page. Warning: it is mostly political bs that makes the trending page but you can more easily get to the golf board

on mobile (beta mode), you can click the hamburger menu in top left of page and there is a Trending Topics link
