Dude are you dumb... they have no reason to come to the board right now... but if u start having boards dedicated to the conference they're in they will come in droves.. ala the SECR

there are too many separate boards already. imo that's the worst thing about this site especially with the post nazis getting their panties in a bunch when a topic isnt on the "correct" board.

Yea they need to do a little housekeeping for sure... but if anyone can't see how a big10 rant would draw more hits than some of the other crap they got on here they need their heads checked.

You have to consider how the site has evolved.

Tigerdroppings/SECRant is largely geographically based.

I did a small study last year.

There are two pretty large sports based forums in Texas and the Big10 probably would not have the interest you'd expect initially.

There's still a large market share of the southeast TD/SEC rant doesn't have (Florida, east coast)

Those areas should probably be where some focus should be IMO.

That may be true but as another poster said in a different thread that I read today, a lot of that market share you speak of in florida will never come to the site as they are retirees from new york or latinos who have no interest in american football. I've got to believe there is potential in the midwest and west coast as collegefootball has grown exponentially there in recent years.

yea, I'm sure the admins don't want college football fans talking about football and bringing in more hits and therefore more money to the boards... you're right, what was Ithinking.
