Tech Board: Browser keeps shutting down

new phenomenon for me.....google chrome and a citrix based application that I run keep auto-closing on me if I'm AFK for like 2 mins sometimes and 10 mins other times.
It's not screen saver based, as that's set at 30 mins...I am reading something and then everything closes and I'm staring at my desktop.
anyone have any ideas?
