Suggestion for thread scoring

This is mostly needed IMO for the poli board. When I go to a thread there this my usual process:
Read initial post
Scan for downvoted responses
Read back and forth posts from there
A lot of times the threads are just circle jerks with all upvotes.
So the suggestion is to calculate the total of up and down votes in all posts in the thread. Then an indicator would go next to last post time in the board grid with: up total/down total/no response total
