Could somebody please share with me the reason or some reasons to log in and out routinely? Even numerous times per day? Put another way, what are the benefits of being logged out, as opposed to simply staying logged in 24/7??
TIA
TIA

I wasn't clear enough, that's on me. I'm not having that issue, but rather am curious as to what reasons posters intentionally log off, then on, then off, on, etc etc. In other words, what's even the point of logging off after you're done browsing and posting for the day? As opposed to just staying logged on for good?
And I was thinking, I suppose one reason some people log off intermittently is to log back on to an alter account. Turrible!!
But other than that.....?

Shared computer, that should've been pretty obvious. Doh! Thanks for that.

If I stayed logged in I would post nonstop even more than I do now. I work from home and check in here and there throughout the day. Being logged out keeps me from responding to every post that I read. I guess you could call having to log in a sort of firewall.
Before you ask, no I have no self control.

Understood. We probably share that characteristic. And thanks for the input.

Sharing the same characteristics is an understatement for an alter.
