Resetting password problem

When I get the email sent to me to reset, it continues to tell me “You did not complete all the required fields”—-why? I am using letters and numbers between 7-10 characters.

I have been trying to reset it for some time now, with no help from the help board. This is the second thread in as many months regarding this. What am I doing wrong here?

I am setting up 2 new iPads and a new iPhoneX.


Some help would be appreciated.

I am still logged in on an older iPad as I don’t remember the old password and did not want to log out before changing to a new password. Do I need to be logged out on all devices to allow the change to happen?
