Proposed Policy for Thread Anchoring

Chicken,

Will you please consider instituting a rule with your admin team to have them provide an explanation whenever they anchor a thread?

A single post, provided by whomever anchors the thread, containing a single senctence: 'This thread was anchored because...'

There has simply been too many instance of threads getting anchored despite seemingly breaking none of TD's rules. Particularly on the Poli talk, a few of your admins make far to liberal use of their anchoring privileges. Providing just a minimal level of transparency about why threads are being anchored would go a long way. Thanks for your consideration.

I actually think the Poliboard being a little electronic banana republic is a big part of its charm.
