cool. i'm trying to learn this stuff the best that i can and will be willing to help with any requests that someone may have. i know that stout and orphan are very good at what they do so a lot of people are asking for their help, so maybe i can start to try and catch some of the overflow.

just some recommendations from me.
i think you could make the images a little bigger. i use photshop 7 and i open an image 400x150 with a transparent background. i then open all of the images that i am going to use. i then either extract them or remove the background (depends on what type of background i'm dealing with). then i move them over to the first image and resize them so that they are big enough to see but also small enough to get most of the image in. after that i design the background (i have downloaded gimp and have started trying to do them there or i just use a cool looking picture as the background) then i take every image one by one and manipulate it either by blending options or the filter options. i do the font the same way. i try to make everything look like it fits together (ie-not making one thing look too fancy and one not as fancy) i like to make the font stand out the best that i can. that's just how i do it though.

try to focus on the blending options for each layer. you can do like drop shadows, outer glow, and etc. it will make the images stand out a little more on the background instead of it being so plain. you can also play around with the opacity of images. you can also download new fonts that are way different than a lot of the default fonts with the program.

key kige, i'll try and get to it in the morning when i get to work, even if someone else tries you one i'll still give it a go, helps to have options to choose from.
