Poli Board Protocol question

For Poli Board purposes, Is it okay to start a thread to discuss a public Facebook post made by someone on a political issue, obviously requiring the linking and/or reproducing the post? The person is not believed to be a TD poster.
Because the FB post is public it seems like it would be okay and I seem to recall this being done in other instances but am not certain and want to stay law-abiding on here.
Thanks.

I've never seen it be a problem in the past. There are 2-3 local BR SJW's with access to admin email, so threads about them generally disappear pretty quickly. But otherwise it seems to be fair game.
