Is the "like" button disabled?

My "likes" are turning back to zero.
Is this turned off, or have I been banned from "liking"?

Background: I'm using Mac OS X and safari.
When I click "like" it will register it.
However if I refresh the page or leave it and come back, my "like" is gone (now shows "zero" where there was a "1")
