I think his behavior was extremely dull-witted, which is why I see this circumstance as an opportunity to show that posters can settle things on their own without needing to be forcefully separated by a Jerry Springer bouncer with "admin" on his shirt. Seems like things had already simmered down between the two of you when the banning occurred.

They had. I don't think they really ever got out of hand. He got his arse pounded by plenty of other people before the bannage. The public scorn was enough punishment as far as I was concerned.

College FB makes a great point. The bannage was not the real punishment for Elisha's indiscretion. The uproar by many posters concerning the callous and cold remarks were enough.
I guess the point has been made and case closed. Maybe the bannage should be lifted.
