Help me upload a gif

I made my first gif, but when I try to upload it to an image hosting site from my computer it tells me the file is too big. Is there a way to make it smaller?

It is saved to my computer. How can I post it if I can't upload it to photo bucket, image shack, etc. ?

Try imgur maybe, I don't know their restrictions though.
