I have been lurking on SECRant for about 6 months and posting for 5 or so, and I honestly didn't even realize there was anyone moderating that board. It definitely needs a new one.

The admins go to where the most RA's are. If no RA's happen then more than likely no admin action will happen. And it has to be more than one RA as ice eluded to in that thread I linked earllier. The need of an admin has to be what the masses want. If the masses aren't requesting admins then the admins feel all is fine.

That would make sense if we were talking about isolated incidents, but all you have to do is spend 5 minutes on SECRant to figure out that it's a systemic problem. If we used your logic, people would be RA'ing just about every other post.

Because no one wants to go to the trouble of RAing thousands of posts? I'm not saying anyone owes it to the forum to moderate it, but if the owners of this site want SECRant to be something other than the internet version of professional wrestling, they need a moderator that actively reads the board and is intent on cleaning it up.

I don't have access to when the RA happens or why an admin doesn't respond when it happens. Maybe one of them will answer that at some point before this thread is whacked
