I am considering attending LSU. I want to get my BS in Athletic Training. I was wondering if anyone knows about the Athletic training curriculum at LSU? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

I responded to your old thread down the page... next time just bump it instead of starting a new one.

MSCoastTigerGirl majored in Athletic training... she will be able to help you the most. However she is not online right now. So next time she posts I will let her know.

you could also ask the OT, but just be ready for alot of ahole answers.

I avoid the o-t because of the B.S. answers. Thank you for replying. It's been awhile since I've been on td.com. About to graduate in Dec in Medical Office Assisting.

You have to get accepted into the program first. You have to volunteer for a year, so if you are at LSU now go look up the dates so you can start that so you can apply to get into the program for next year.

Hey. I am an ATC. However, I went to SLU because LSU's program was not accrideted at the time. I do not know much about LSU's curriculum, but it has to be similar to SLU's because of the accreditation. Your mornings will be spent in classes until noon. Then we had to be in the Training Room at 1:00 for treatments. If our sport was in season, we had to stay for practice. It is time consuming, but being on the sidelines during the games is a lot of fun.
