peripheral nerve stimulation.
When I can afford a machine, I’ll get one and learn to use it. I think I can get one around $1000

Hey Em
I had no idea that it was so bad. All I can offer is prayer. You know that we love you and we're looking forward to your next visit. I'm so sorry that your SO is suffering so badly. You've done so much for us. I wish that there was something that I could do.

Dang... I came here to update this thread as I haven’t said anything on it in a while and Ben being the last one who posted, and the one year of his death anniversary being yesterday has me in tears. But maybe just the message I needed to see from him.
I figured I’d do a 15 month update on our situation. My SO never did try the pharmaceuticals.... the pain continues but the TN symptoms aren’t every day anymore. We are so thankful and lucky for this! While her TN is affected, it’s more of when her blood pressure is up and resting on that nerve, or something in her head is off.
Although she does have pain daily, she’s been in much better spirits and able to live her life a little. She hasn’t worked in a year and a half, but recently has been able to get out of the house for a few hours, a couple days a week, to do some very easy work that doesn’t put any strain on her. That only started this week, so we will see how it goes.
Right now she takes THC/CBD in high doses, gets cranial sacral twice a month, and Nucca chiropractor appointments the other two weeks of the month. This combo has been working well. I HIGHLY suggest cranial sacral for anyone experiencing TN symptoms.
She was never diagnosed with TN, but only suffers from the symptoms when things are out of alignment.
Nucca chiro has been amazing as well! Very very low intense adjustments, but so beneficial for someone in severe chronic pain.
We still have the trusty ole bottle of gabapentin
- but keeping it as the last resort. Thanks for the well wishes and such, we are grateful that everyday isn’t spent at level 10 pain anymore. Maybe 7-8 but not 10
I hope one day she can be a testament in natural healing... it is possible! Lots and lots of meditation.
