After getting sick and bailing at the end of week 1 in February, I finally got back into the gym consistently. Due to a scheduled trip, I went ahead and completed the 3 week prep plan before restarting Benchuary.

Last week on W1D5, I was expecting to decrease TM based on the AMRAP. Didn't expect to hit the minimum of 6@83.2%, but I did. Then this week I was positive I'd come up short. Surprised myself and hit 6@85.7%.

So far the worst part of the plan is the 9x20 sets of tricep pushups at the end of the week. Both weeks I've done all 9 sets, but missed some reps. Arms just start giving out in that 15-20 rep range. I missed 17 reps week 2 and 32 reps week 1. So definite improvement, but still missed reps none-the-less.

Wrapped up week 3 this morning. The 1@100% was heavy, but the rep was smooth. The TM I'm using is my actual 1RM from Jan. Ready for next week!

Finally finished up Benchuary this morning. With the exception of the different 1RM lifts each Monday, the plan was very simple and straightforward. I saw some good improvement over the last few weeks, especially with pullups and SLDLs.

Since I completed both Benchuary Prep and Benchuary, I didn't want to go 2 months with no leg days and stall progress. I modified the plan to add some lower body/core lifts. I added 1 leg lift a day M-Th and then a back/core/leg day on Sa.

In hindsight, I think I had too much of a warm-up and should've kept it simpler. I still managed 260#, a 15# improvement from Jan. I wanted more (don't we all), but I'm happy with the improvement.
