ELDOA for back pain

I was recently introduced to ELDOA as a method to improve posture and relieve back pain.
Kind of like yoga in that it involves poses and stretching but a bit different in its intended target. More about getting space in between compressed, stressed vertebra and building core strength.
I kind of of like it so far. Anyone on here have experience with it? Looking for some reviews before I fully jump on board.
(The word is apparently a French acronym)

Are you getting instruction from a practitioner? I tried some basic movements DIY, but didn’t see much change. Could’ve been doing it totally incorrectly, though.

I got some coaching from a physical therapist who does it. It definitely helps to have someone instructing you. There are minor things that make a big difference.
Didnt get much out of the sitting positions, but those are apparently something that make more difference in the long term. The laying down and wall positions made a noticeable difference in how my back felt. Much more so than my attempts at yoga.

Good to know. I may give it another go. I find I get more out of modalities like this the second time around (after giving up on it initially to try something else that ends up not working either).
