Was helping a friend move some furniture 3rd quarter of last year, after picking up on something heavy my wrist started bothering me. I wouldnt say its excruciating pain but definitely an uncomfortable nagging pain. The pain is when i rotate my wrist either way but mainly palm up. Adding weight makes the pain worse like when im holding a box from underneath.

It Bothered me enough for the next 2 weeks where i went see an orthopedic. He gave me a brace, some oral steroids and then a bunch of strong anti inflammatory meds to take. After following his directions, it might have slightly gotten better but still bothered me and i could aggravate it by doing too much. Was hoping with just giving it more time it would just get better but 6 months later and im in the office again. This time he rotates my wrist and pushes on something and it was the most pain ive felt in that wrist yet. He ordered an MRI in the coming weeks but was just wondering if anyone here has had or know of someone with a similar injury. Anything yall could tell me would be a help.

I had a TFCC tear playing football in highschool. After a month or so, I was able to get back to lifting and playing but had to be in a brace that limited extension. Rotation at the wrist hurt and clicked for 2-3 years but wasn’t life limiting.
