The Bridges is either glorious or impossible, depending on how well you hit it and what the wind is doing. If you spray it a bit bring a case of balls.

It’s in great shape right now.

It’s not run as tightly as say the Bear or the Preserve, and that’s turns some people off. It’s laid back.

There are some beautiful holes out there.

Was just down there and played both. Diamondhead is in excellent shape - greens running very fast and fairways filling in nicely. Really good shape. I had forgotten what a Championship layout the Bridges was - even from regular tees. The fairways and greens are still a little thin, but very playable. Had my best round of the year there. Typical Arnie course with lots of risk/reward shots off the tees. Some incredible green complexes. Give the Bridges another month and it should be very good.

Live in Diamondhead and love the two courses. Can’t speak for the others you mentioned.

Grand Bear has an awesome layout, but the greens have been shite lately. It’s about 45-60 min from BSL.

Just played Grand Bear on saturday after rain and the course was in great condition as well as the greens, especially considering it had rained hard about an hour before we teed off

all that being said, Grand Bear and TPC Louisiana are the nicest courses I have played, so what I consider "great conditions" may differ from the rest of the boards.

Mother had a condo on the 18 hole on the Cardinal. So so the time she lived there. They did a total green reno while she was there. Never in bad shape, never in great but fun course to play. The Pines course lot easier imo. One of her best friends there was good friends with Brett Favres mom. Met her and Bretts brother at the yacht club watching the 4th of July fireworks at the Casino Magic.
