TGL is more entertaining than LIV, imo. I don't think either are a "threat" to the PGA tour product wise (other than LIV throwing massive sums of money and buying pga players). It helps solve golf's pace problem. The fast paced action is what's made the golf youtube content appealing to people and this matches that.

NLU had a good recap show discussing broadcast, thoughts, etc. Anyone saying it could take over traditional golf is clearly trolling though. Enjoyed alt shot portion and think it’ll improve over time as they work out audio, kinks, etc.

It needs these players gambling with their own money, and whip out after the match on TV. That was the downfall of the skins game, the players had no skin in the game.
