Soldiers Creek Golf Course in Gulf Shores

Has this course changed owners? It looks like they are rebranding as The Preserve. On golf advisor a lot of the reviews are saying the course has gotten much better. Has anyone here played it recently? How is it? Layout and condition wise. Worth the green fee?

Played last weekend. Do not go! A shell of what it used to be. Paid $55 but take my word and play elsewhere.

I can't speak to the condition, as I haven't played it in two years, but Glenlakes was surprisingly nice for the price.

I played it a couple weeks ago and would not recommend. Greens were ok for the most part but fairways and general conditioning looked totally abandoned in spots.

I played Glenlakes about 2 months ago. It’s a 15 min drive from our house. Great condition for the price. Kiva is about a 35 min drive. I plan on checking off

Gulf Shores Golf Club was in excellent shape when I played it a few months ago. The giant fox squirrels add a little bit of drama to your round as well

GSGC was also in great shape last week, even though it poored. That is my second favorite course in GS.
