SIAP

Recommendations for New Orleans area lessons? At one point in my life, I was told and even considered myself to be a pretty decent to good golfer. Now, not so much. If I’m being honest I’m actually pretty terrible. Part of it is simply getting back into shape but I want to get serious about my game again.

Also, in another post I remember someone mentioning a fitting guru around the Belle Chasse area I think. Buddha? Does that sound familiar?

My plan is to get fitted properly and then begin lessons. Should I look to lessons first??? Seems fitting first would be ideal.

Thanks in advance for any Recs and advice.

How do you have that many names???

Is there an app or site you are pulling that from? Are those local pros at different courses or independent guys?

Trying to figure out same thing- I've had Noel and Manzella recommended to me over past couple of days. Anyone have any pros/cons of the two?

I just got fitted with Buddha...excellent experience. I'm planning to take lessons from him as well going forward though I'm curious to see the replies you get

Since when does he do lessons? Also, someone mentioned some guys at private clubs. Highly doubtful a head pro at a private club can/will do lessons for a non-member.

Not sure when he started but he definitely does them now. He was finishing a lesson with a college golfer when I first went in there

I did a swing analysis and a 6 lesson plan at golf tec in metairie cause it's right by my office.

The video analysis is great. It's easily taken 10 strokes off in a few months. Eliminated the bad misses.

Not sure about everywhere, but a lot of private club pros do lessons for non-members. I took a lesson with Leitz and I know the Le Triomphe guys do as well. Maybe NOCC or Metarie don’t, but the rest in our area do.

Which one of these is the best for a beginner and located in NOLA proper?

Are Larry and Bobby still at City Park?

I don't see them listed on City Park's website.

Are Larry and Bobby at a different course? Or do you know anything about the current City Park guys?
