I broke my neck on the Senator course trying to hit a ball out of that fountain grass or whatever it's called.

I muscled up, torque up, swung hard and Crack ! Broke a vertebrae and blew out a disc.

I finished the round, played 36 holes the next day, flew home the following day with a dead feeling left arm and had a spinal fusion done 2 days later.

What started out a pretty economical trip go expensive fast..

One of the funny things about that, is how efficient they are about mowing, which is one of the big time killers. I haven’t once had to wait while a mower is doing something, and I play early frequently.

I wouldn’t be surprised if their cost per hole is actually lower than most courses given the ability to maximize employee hours in that regard.

In my limited play on the RTJ Trail, looks like they’ve got it figured out on the work force. Seems like most of the guys doing the mowing/early morning work are just normal retirement age dudes that want to make a little extra money (or volunteer?). The times that I’ve played early and caught up to one of them filling in divots on tee boxes or changing trash cans out, they’re just chilled out older guys that just enjoy the game.

You actually found it???

If I hit one in there I just drop one in the general vicinity…not in that shite.

The few times I’ve looked for one I’ve found several, none of them mine.

Get paid a little, best perk is rounds you play cost $10.

Good description. We play on Wednesday mornings and the groups are always relaxing to play with.
