how close do you bring your arms in at address?

i noticed almost every good player has their arms in tight at address and very close, allows you to stay connected.
i was messing with this at edwin watts just now and it made a difference, swings where i took my arms in close and held them their had about 15 mph more clubhead then when i swung normally not bringing my arms in. pretty eye opening.

If my arms are too close at address, I tend to take it too far inside on my takeaway. I stay “connected” in transition which shallows me out. Right elbow at hip.

i was always a big beliver in loose arms and whipping them through but bringing them in as close as possible and kweping them taught was eye opening in the speed it produced. im assuming i was more synced up with my body, i hit 112 doing it, was sitting at 95 before i did it, wild.
