They have opened up the white 9. You just can't play hole 8 because the airplane is still sitting on the green.

They got lucky they shorted it by that much. Could have gone directly into the concrete drainage canal in between golf course and airport. Plane would have exploded.

Couple got life lighted and is alive.

Is Pearland open to the public?
I often play Southwyck and it’s a goat ranch.

Pearland CC opens up tee times on GolfNow during the week.

The greens are very nice and fairways are playable considering winter.

Sand in the bunkers is very fluffy.

Too bad about Southwyck, it use to be fun to play. Way too many courses around in poor shape, hard to understand why they don't make the investment back into the course.

Anybody check out Timber Creek lately? I haven’t been in like 8 months and have been wondering if they are tying to get it back into shape. Greens were so bad last time I played I figured it would take a long time for them to get it back into decent shape.

Played there at the start of last summer and the greens were awful like you said.

Would like to know if they have improved as well.

Meadowbrook greens are in bad shape. Many of them hardly have any grass.

Not worth the money.

Greens are fine, actually pretty good for this time of year and the cold fronts that just rolled through.
