Help with uneven lies

Specifically fairway woods.
I’m struggling making good contact on a shot where the ball is above my feet(side hill; sort of downhill as well)
Adjustments?
Widen stance?
Swing more around?
Weight toward hill?
Layup with iron?

For side hill, uphill lies with irons or woods, I choke up on the grip accordingly, so that my knee bend is the same as a flat lie. Doing that will lessen the ball’s carry, so I adjust the club selection accordingly. These types of lies are supposed to make the shot go left (right handed golfer), but I find mine go pretty straight. If it’s a steep side hill lie, it’s hard to use a lot of lower body without losing balance, so I use a mostly upper body swing, similar to a fairway bunker shot.

Choking up on club will definitely help contact, be sure to give yourself plenty of room to your “hook’ side.
On a downhill lie, I’ve always tried to get the feeling that when my right shoulder clears(I’m a righty), it’ll lift my head, and it forces me to stay down & through the shot.

Also critical on above the feet lies to make sure your hands get past the ball before the clubhead does (no casting), or you’re going to hit behind it

It’s a hard shot no matter what you do, especially the longer the club gets. Ive learned to play safe off of those lies and don’t let them kill your round.

I guess I should layup unless it’s not too awkward.
I messed up big time yesterday.
Just got off balance and chopped at it.
I’m practicing swinging on the slopes in my yard just to find a feel.
1. If it’s too severe, layup.
2. Widen stance
3. Place hands toward club head on grip
4. Swing smoothly, maybe 75%
Thanks golf board!

Uncounted foot wedge to a better lie.

Played 9.
Had fairway wood with uneven lie x3.
Focused on slowing down.
Wider stance.
Made better contact.
Of course, I 3 potted the one I hit on the green.
Always something.
