I know bopper lives close and I'm not far over in old Sugar Land, but how the owners let this place run down is really sad. It was in such poor shape that it was not even enjoyable to play. I lit them up on Golfnow and I'll put my review on here too...
For us golfers in Fort Bend County, where do we go? Since Greatwood, River Pointe, and Sienna are all owned by the same person, I want to play somewhere else that at least I don't get penalized for hitting it in the middle of the fairway...

Played there a few years ago on a work trip. I liked the layout and it was in good shape at that time.

It's better now than it's been in the past 5 years.
Played there last Thursday.

The Lopez family. Absolute bums. They are happy taking your money and put nothing back into the business. I used to love playing Greatwood. Dont go anymore. Pecan Grove is cheaper and in better shape and its not far from there. Or go a little further and play Meadowbrook farms but that one is a little pricier.

Before we got annexed to the City of Sugarland, we offered Lopez 3 million to take over the course and they refused.
Water rights and the water table is a huge issue between them and the City now. I'm hoping the City wins out and Lopez gets squeezed out.
