OEM shafts like the Alta have too a high torque rating for stronger players.
30 years ago, I was sent a set of G. Loomis graphite iron shafts by accident that were Davis Love specs.. To this day, they were one of the finest shafts that I have ever hit.

A lefty I grew up playing with had some callaway big bertha irons with the graphite shaft. Could’ve had the RCH 96 in them though.

I remember those.
The woods shafts didn't have any boron in the tip and they would break at the O-Ring.
