Played it on Sat -

Tee Boxes & Fairways great shape

Greens could have been better (a little bumpy) -
expected better greens w course being shut down for a month.

$80 green fee Would play again

Played the Sunday after it re-opened. Exact same thoughts. Pretty disappointed in the greens as a whole, but it's still one of my favorites.

We played it on Monday and I agree with your review too.

Positives: Fun layout, a few challenging holes, very well manicured.

Once we teed off, we encountered absolutely no one. It was our own private course.

We saw more deer (3) than other golfers. We saw a single when we stopped between 9 and 10.

Downside: Greens were not pure like I had hoped. I was 0 for 6 on birdie putts. No one in our group made a putt of any length. It was tough to get approach shots to stick.

I would absolutely return. It’s one of my favorites on the MS coast.
