I just need to get a one hour lesson in. I need someone to look at my swing and tell me why a severe slice has crept into my drive. Played the best golf of my life about 2 months ago, and then the driver just went south.

I've taken the package lesson with the guy in the Wetlands. Do y'all recommend anyone different in the area that would be good just for the one hour? I want the focus to be specifically on that one thing. Not have someone tell me how important short game is and want me to work on that in the hour.

$175 an hour. That's steep. I think I paid 200 for the four lesson package at The Wetlands.

I would recommend David Gary at the wetlands if price is an issue for you. He’s a great instructor and you’ve already taken lessons with him. He’s very affordable. When I first moved back to Lafayette about 10 years ago, I did the lesson package with him also. Great guy.

I use cliff at oakbourne, and he does non members as well. He’s $125/hour. When I first joined Oakbourne about 8-9 years ago, he was $60 or $70 an hour. Lesson prices here have gone up insane amounts the last few years.

You could always check out Mark Popp for a quick lesson. Very reasonable and a really good guy.

I would vote for Mark Popp too. Know all of them and Mark has a feel for the game that he easily gets you to understand and implement.

I see Mark regularly. Does a great job for all handicaps. Works a bunch on feel but his knowledge of the game is immense. Good guy to learn from at a reasonable price
