Going to Louisville at the end of the month and looking to play once. We've played Valhalla and Covered Bridges. Looking for somewhere else nice. TIA.

There's nothing really in the city that is publicly accessible that I would recommend.
Nevel Meade is about 25 minutes from downtown and is solid. Links-style course in the bluegrass area east of town.
Heritage Hill is about 25 minutes south of downtown and is supposed to be pretty damn good, but I've never played it. I heard they were having financial problems, but it was highly rated as recently as 2016.
Chariot Run is Caesar's casino course and isn't far from town. Solid track. Belterra isn't that far, either.
It really depends on how much you want to pay and how far you're willing to drive. You're not that far from either French Lick or Victoria National, and both are incredible courses but are quite expensive. All of the good tracks actually in town are private.

Fuzzy Zoeller has two courses in southern Indiana that aren't a bad drive from downtown Louisville. Covered Bridge and Champion's Pointe. You've played Covered Bridge, might try the other? Chariot's Run is very nice. Persimmon Ridge is in Louisville and is good enough.
