Fitting at Club Champion

Got a full bag fitting there this weekend. If you go be prepared to hit a TON of balls. The equivalent of playing 4 rounds in 3 hours. Over 300 Mainly full swings lol.
Started with irons. Got a baseline with my current gamer, hit 5-6 shafts until we narrowed it down. Once we found the shaft we started hitting different heads. Hit basically all the brands. 410, ap1, 790, 919, rogue, apex, narrowed that to a couple but 919 were the best for me. My shafts are same that I have now. Proj X LZ 6.0
We moved to driver next. Same thing, worked through shafts until we found the best fit. Then hit basically every head there lol. Mizuno, M6, Both epics, 410, pxg, TS3, etc.
Flash and M6 were basically the same. Shaft was a fujikura ventus 6x
Gained 13 yards carry distance and 21 total over my xr16 by getting the spin way down.
Went through FW and hybrids next but didn’t make any changes
Hit wedges after, they’re really all the same and it’s just about feel and looks. Numbers on the monitor were very close for all the models.
Also went through the putter fitting on the SAM lab which is pretty cool, no change there for me either, but cool to see your stroke.
I caught it during the half price special so it was $175. Normally 350 for full bag. The cost to purchase clubs from there is much higher than from a big box store or Edwin watts but I can see why some would opt to buy from CC.
Overall great service and would recommend to others.

Would it be better to break it into segments?

because they build on site which are the only clubs you should ever buy if you are serious about fitting.
Watts and big box stores say they fit you but all they do is send off your measurements to the company who then mail the clubs back. No one then checks the specifications of mailed clubs to see if they are correct, a builder does this every time when they build on site.
Its more expensive but you can truly say your clubs are fit to you.

True but they won’t be built in house, they’ll be built and shipped in. You still get loft/lie and free fittings for life there though.
Prices are higher because they’ll charge me $80 for a shaft upgrade that mizuno gives for free and $30 per club for puring. $15 for grip.
Quote was $3300 for a driver, 7 irons and 2 wedges.

I’m 40 and pretty active, usually hit a lot of balls and I was worn out. Got a blister on my finger I’ve never had before lol.
It would prob be better to spilt into 2 sessions. Maybe irons/wedges and driver/woods/putter.
It’s a lot of full swings.

Hank Haney says to take 100 full swings per day.

Oh damn, It thought the club builders were on site at CC.

They have the stuff to build there but it’s quicker for them to get a full set built at another CC location then there due to volume is what I was told. May just be a Metairie location thing. I’m sure the other locations are larger and better staffed.
