Headed to the Yellowstone area in the next 2 weeks- flying in/out of Bozeman but will be based in eastern Idaho. Any good public spots near Jackson Hole, Idaho Falls, or Bozeman?
Not taking the chance of checking my clubs with only 1-2 rounds planned so will need to rent a set too. Thanks guys!

We played Old Works Golf Club in Anaconda, MT which is a bit of a drive for you. But man. It was gorgeous and a Jack Nicklaus’ design. One of the prettiest courses I’ve ever played. (I’m from Louisiana so this terrain was amazing)

This is of no help but I played the absolute shittiest course outside of Dubois, Wyoming when I was killing some time waiting to meet up with my wife but it didn't matter because the scenery and weather is incredible. Feel like even the worst course you are going to find will still be enjoyable just because of that.
