Anyone play Tamahka Trails lately?

I am playing there tomorrow and heard it is in excellent shape.

Played it about a month ago and the fairways and greens were ok. Bunkers were trash

course is in great shape except for a couple dead spots on some greens they are trying to get right.

Bunkers are crap. If there are 30 bunkers, 20 are pretty much unplayable unless you like hitting out of rock hard dirt.

They are suppose to be replacing every bunker over the next two years....not as deep and easier to get out of. Heard it is a $200k+ job but with the casino there hurting idk how they will afford it.

That’s a shame. Could be a great course if they would take care of it. Its kinda been that way since they opened it

It was never considered a priority. When “Tex” Reed was the superintendent, he had a manageable budget, and was able to maintain as a top level course. The TBI’s got greedy, and had some shadetree lawn mowers take over, and went south from there. It’s a shame...
