Not arguing whether Ping is a family company, but it isn't like Ping isn't a huge company. If you listed best known golf companies, it's Titleist, Ping, and Taylormade in the top tier.

I have hit a lot of the new irons and the latest greatest Ping G410’s are really smooth. Best feeling irons in my mind.

Karsten invented the rabbit ears for TV while at GE and the Ping Factory supplied ceramic for some space missions too.

He also built a turntable for his garage in New York so he wouldn't have to back out. . .he was that bad of a driver??.
