NCAA Football will be back eventually but not in the way it used to. Someone is going to have to step up and do something a little different.
If someone could secure the rights to only the schools and conferences (even just the major ones), and give us a blank slate at the beginning of the season, and you would recruit and fill the rosters with all generic players. That way no one would get their panties in a bunch for using real players.
It was my understanding that the conferences and schools didn't mind having themselves represented, since it meant more exposure; the issue was a few crybaby former players. Just take all the real players out but make the rosters fully editable.
That sounds like a step in the right direction and I think someone will give it a shot eventually.

Yeah it was only the most popular game pretty much every year it was released. NCAA football and basketball would bury that shitty Madden and NBA 2k 6 feet under ground right now.

They should just do it 4 years in the past do players can be featured without being in college.

Like someone said, all they'd have to do is put out generic teams and rosters. If they allow community logo creation/sharing, the game would have all of the regular logos/uniforms in less than a week after release.
